Premium Build Quality for Ultra Performance
- Burr Brown op-amps provide ultra low distortion and maximum resolution in the pre-amp circuitry and combined with Monolithic audiophile-grade signal capacitors provide frequency response past 50kHz
- High current nickel plated buss bars connections ensure proper energy transfer
- Legendary Phoenix Gold massive dual unregulated power supplies, featuring Triple Darlington technology are built for dynamic headroom and to drive low 1ohm impedance loads
- Ultra low ESR and high energy secondary capacitors deliver maximum dynamic performance
- Nickle plated panel mounted RCA connections ensure signal purity and provide a high quality connection
- Clip light indicators ensure the amplifier reaches maximum undistorted output
- Power supply transformers are hand wound, featuring a third windings (as opposed to the standard two) to ensure higher efficiency and lower operating temperatures
Chassis Features
- Extruded Aluminum Heatsink with Evenflow Technology
- Exhaust vents are built into the endcaps. Airflow from the cooling system is pushed across the internal heatsink fins and exhausts out the side vents
- The power supply is loaded with 16 IRF-3205 high current and high speed MOSFETs. They are clamped to the heatsink using precision aluminum extrusions for dual heatsinking and lower power supply operating temperatures
- RMD port allows you to add a remote monitoring display, giving you a visual of the voltage of your system
- Subwoofer level control with power and clip light indicators allow quick adjustments of the bass from the driver's seat
Total Control of Your Music Output
- Instruments and vocals are passed through with clarity to your front and rear channels with a Front/Rear High Pass Crossover Range of 20Hz to 4kHz
- With a Rear Low Pass Crossover Range of 40Hz to 4kHz for high quality lower notes and Rear Band Pass Crossover Range of 20Hz to 4kHz for midrange or midbass in active applications
- The subwoofer channel filters allow you to tailor your hard hitting bass with an available Low Pass Crossover Range of 30Hz to 300Hz and a Subsonic Crossover Range of 10Hz to 55Hz to eliminate unwanted ultra low frequencies, improving the efficiency of your subwoofer
- Variable phase of the subwoofer channel output can be adjusted 0 to 180 degrees. This adjustment can help achieve better “up front” bass, by enhancing your sub bass and mid bass transition and resolve subwoofer cancellation problems in certain installations. Resulting in tight, articulate bass that blends perfectly into the rest of your audio experience
